It’s an interesting finish, Whirli … and I like it. Sort of layered solarised colours. The thing about dark colours is, as Ronald says, they allow details to emerge as your eyes adjust to the image. Love the ‘father’ and ‘mother’ figures. To me they say “Raffles” (Singapore). Cheers … :))

Love your comments Shanina, Helene, Ronald and Bernd.

Bernd, I’ve been getting that solarised effect with some scanned in hand-made, black paper that has big patches of gold and silver on it. Using “curves” in Photoshop you get some seriously interesting effects, then it’s just a matter of playing with the various other colour enhancing/changing menus…....et voila!

Whirli, I just love the Curves button, can play with it for hours lol!

I can see I may have to upgrade some day. I couldn’t afford photoshop so I bought Paint Shop Pro X (on e-Bay lol) instead. I’ve since added a few filters but overall I love it and it does most things I need to do. Then again, I probably haven’t missed what I haven’t experienced. Sounds like Photoshop is a lot of fun too.

Interesting how the 2 parent figures?? are predominantly white, making them ,more prominant in the work. the daughters in between the two are hardly noticeable. lovely color used here, has an apol feel about it, very nice!!!!!

Now who is to say they are the parents !

Maybe they are not even a couple, just two people going off to night races sitting and waiting for a bus or a cab whilst the girls are off clubbing.

Yes, Shanina, Curves are great – I think I’d be quite lost with out that option! But Bernd, I think Paint Shop Pro X is working excellently for you, judging by your work I’m seeing on the Bubble.

Hey, hugo! Thanks for dropping by and commenting…......

It pleases me to see some mild debate over this work, Ronald…........as they say, interpretation is all in the eyes and the imagination of the viewer!

Greetings, Craig! Thanks for stopping by and for the encouraging comment, but believe me I think you are very adept at piecing together your work! Nice to see you bouncing around the bubble a whole lot more. Love the work you’ve been posting on RB!
