Hi Sandra, thanks for your input. It initially started out as a preparation image for an idea I had, but ended up being an image in it’s own right, so I posted it here to see what people’s thoughts are on it.

Great to read your comments, zee1/hugo/Shanina. Yeah, Shanina, it must the the weather – I was surprised by my own “dark” work. It actually started out much more light and misty, then something else took over…......

Ah Jienn, you are still with us…..I’m so pleased! Thank you for your very encouraging and kind comment. Perhaps a story will come along for this image, but unfortunately at the moment my mind is story-less – I think it has something to do with too many figures in my brain (as in numbers) that I have to deal with at work, relating to the end of the financial year!!

Thanks for the comment Craig. I agree, bats are pretty amazing creatures – I love them too. Re the ink-stained self portraits, I didn’t want to scare the living daylights out of anyone! But I’m still struggling to print my lino prints the way I want them ….....so have given it a rest until I feel less frustrated about them.

PS. don’t put pressure on yourself to get back to commenting on RB – that won’t help your problems!
