Thank you all so much for your feedback. Alan, I understand your thoughts on the shadow – I did that to create a bit of “discomfort” (for want of a descriptive word) to avoid a feeling of sameness throughout the image. It looked just a little too tame without it. But your comment is certainly considered and very much appreciated.
