So this might be a stupid question, but you just tripod the camera, take multiple shots and then blend or layer them in photoshop or some other program? Just curious. Looks great!

Yeah. Sometimes a little clone stamp might be needed as the earth shifts, well, to make things like clouds match or waves and overlap in the action in this case. I use photoshop for this, super easy if you set the shot and preplan for the multiple exposure. Otherwise you may spend a lot of time fudging the photo to work.
