Thesis Theologia

I am God
isn’t that odd?

Behind this flesh facade
Eternity nods

Prove that I am a fraud
You cannot;
So I must be God

I do not see
how I could not be
this God of which we speak
For He is Everything
as am I
He is compassionate
yet jealous on the side
He is Creator
and all I see
is a creation
made by me.

The beasts and fish and fowl I name
and the people, I do the same
They are made in my image
they live by my privilege
So surely I must be
this God of which we speak?

Either I am God or I am mad
And the former makes me glad
so why be a mortal sad
when I could be a deity?

I am God.
Not so odd.
By cross or sword
I am your Lord
So give me your prayers
and I’ll be fair
Being God
is not so hard
when no one expects much.

haha im not sure if you expected someone to react to this by smiling or laughing a little, but recently my english teacher told me that writers are in a sense like God. God is a creator, and so are writers…
i read this poem from that mindset.
    good job! .
