    You are SOOOOOOOO LUCKY !!!!!!!!! We saw humpbacks too but they didn’t really breach …and no way like this . We just got to see them lobtailing … but they are such graceful creatures even that was a treat !

  • Any time spent with whales means it’s a good day. I must say that it often takes many hours spent on the water before whales do what one wants them to do. Lobtailing is lots of fun to view. Can you imagine lifting nearly 1/3 of those great bodies into the air and then smashing their tales down repeatedly? Wowsers! Thanks for stopping by!

  • Hello, sweet Dot! It’s difficult to say which one of us was happier, the whale or me. Breaching activity was slow during the weeks spent with the humpbacks this summer so when this breaching baby began its show, I was finally in heaven. Hugs, G
