Beautiful Bond Falls, located on the Ontonagon River in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula offers loads of opportunities for obtaining multiple images of waterfalls from two massive tumbling cataracts to more intimate stepping stone waterfalls upriver. This is one of my favorite waterfalls in the USA.

Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is a great photography travel destination for not only waterfalls but lighthouses, Lake Superior and abundant wildlife.

FABULOUS! I love the yellow leaves framing the waterfalls, and the way you’ve done the satiny water.

  • Dot, thank you. This is only half of the big waterfall…it’s very difficult to photograph the entire waterfall. Come north and I will take you here. No rust but I know a rusty auto junkyard nearby you’d love! All the best, Gina

Stunning!! Love the colors and framing!!

  • Thank you so very much! This truly is one of my favorite waterfalls for it offers so many angles from which to photograph it plus there are little baby waterfalls uphill from the big water downstream. So glad you stopped by! Gina
