Inspired by a coral reef…

Found on a rusting WWII vintage Higgins boat.

Oxidation, rust, peeling paint, marine encrustations and the remains of oyster shells created great opportunities for abstract images.

Amazing beauty…surprising when you look at the source! I call it a parallel universe in rust.

  • Dot, I always enjoy your comments. One of these days I have to get down your way to enjoy you and your rust! Oooooooh, hubby and I found some wonderful boxcars filled with graffiti and rust last week in rural Wisconsin. Love that stuff. You would have loved it as much as I did…no groveling as the train cars were at eye level! :-)) As ever, so good to hear from you, Happy Lady!
