While photographing two adult non-breedingLaysan albatrosses that were sitting together quietly, I felt a gentle pecking on my arm. Turning quickly, a curious Laysan albatross was inspecting my arm. I quickly grabbed another camera with a smaller lens to fire off a few images of this wonderful bird. The result was an image that continues to amuse me!
Laysan Albatrosses are listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
