This turbaned Jinghpaw woman was selling bean curd pudding and a few greens in the early morning market in Myitkyina, Burma. Her composure and wonderful wide cheekbones attracted me immediately. Once again handicapped by my inability to communicate freely, a smile opened doors toward obtaining this lady’s photograph.
I do not know her name nor her age but think she possesses an ageless beauty.
