A dusty dry season dawn created orange hues in the sky over thousands of ancient Buddhist pagodas. Due to the haze in the air, my preferred photos from a hot air balloon flight were crisp silhouettes of ancient temples standing stalwart against fiery dawn skies. When life hands one hazy sky lemons, make lemonade with silhouettes!

Canon 40D, Tamron 28-75mm lens, shutter 1/500, f/11, exposure bias -2, focal length 33mm, ISO 200. I saturated the color slightly during editing plus darkened the image to enhance the silhouette’s dramatic contrast.
