A zealous, excited Iditarod sled dog seems to want to strike out in a different direction as its dog team leaves a race checkpoint.
I don’t know why it is that I find this yellow dog’s image so amusing but it makes me laugh every time I look at this canine athlete.
Every one of these hard-working dogs is a mutt, with anything from husky to malamute to springer to pointer contained in their DNA. It all adds up to creating the hardest working athlete on the planet, the sled dog.
