Silky seawater rippled by the bow wake of a ferry created an opportunity for an abstract composition. I darkened the surface of the water and saturated the hues in the rippling wavelet, making for a much more interesting composition than the original image.
Canon 50D, Tamron 28-75mm lens, shutter 1/400, f/6.3, ISO 200.
Taken on the deck of a ferry somewhere between Sitka and Petersburg, Alaska.
