Shimmering sunset reflected in Assam, India’s Brahmaputra River. Sunsets on the river were curiously devoid of color other than for the sun turning into a flaming red/orange ball of fire. Dust in the air obscured any other brilliant setting sun coloration.

Photographed with a Canon 40D and Canon 100-400mm lens, 1/400, f/10.0, exposure bias 0.67, focal length 400mm, ISO 400.

November, 2007.
