No matter how long I have been away…
The mountains always beckon me near…
And make me long to stay…

I have lived many places…
But none of them compare…
To your Rocky Mountain faces…
Or your dry, crisp, clean air…

If ever Heaven were on Earth…
This would have to be the place…
For nowhere else on this great Earth…
Could compare to your beauty, splendor, and grace…

Someday I shall return here…
It’s only a matter of time…
Colorado… I hold you forever near…
You own my heart… my soul… and my mind….
