~ An Evening Stroll In Washington DC ~
What an incredible sky filled with such wonderfully vivid colors this past week in Washington, DC… This was just a small portion of my journey, alongside of the Reflecting Pool, leading up to the Lincoln Memorial… The Reflecting Pool reflects the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial, which are positioned at either end of it. The pool is long… a third of a mile… and shallow, at about three feet, and it is flanked by pedestrian paths. The Reflecting Pool area has been the site of many public events, and has also been shown in numerous movies like “Forrest Gump” and “In The Line of Fire”....
