Sir Donald Campbell broke the water speed record here in 1964… Now you could barely paddle a canoe here… Tragically Sir Donald was killed during another attempt 3 years later at Lake Coniston in 1967… They never found his body…

    Thanks Penny and Adrian… I have sold a few of these printed large in a black frame and blue matt…I love the way the cloud shape mirrors the shape of the trunks… I don’t think that you could possible get a better cloud cover lol… It is one of my absolute favorites…
    I remember visiting here early 70’s and seeing water skiers and boats everywhere !!!
