Very novel Lynda. Did you know those old wooden cotten reels have started to become ‘antique’ and have some value as collectors’ items? Instant fave btw.

  • Thank you Elaine, so very pleased you like this…..not surprised at these reels becoming collectable, few and far between these days….the bits and pieces here were in an old tin which belonged to my great grandmother, along with badges, buckles and buttons of all shapes and sizes…still have the tin and all it’s contents, a cherished possession:-))

This is just beautiful Lynda.I cannot sew without a thimble and I have my mothers silver one . It must be at least 70 years old.

  • What a beautiful thing to have, lots of cherished memories I’m sure. These bit and pieces came from an old tin which belonged to my Great Grandmother….full of buttons and buckles etc of all shapes and sizes. Thanks for the lovely comments and fave Lilian…always so appreciated!:-))
