These water droplet images are really hard to get right for me – it takes a lot of patience. I used a 36 mm extension tube with a Canon EF 50mm 1.8 lens. I don’t have a speedlight, so I used a security light borrowed from the garage which was was bright enough at close range to allow a shutter speed fast enough to freeze the droplet.
