Seeing Gifts.

When the leaves fall from branches,
Laden with fiery red,
I seek that timeless moment,
Sweet visions in my head.

When the tide moves in,
Swelling from dip to wave,
I sigh in sweetest judgement,
These moments I have to save.

When the rain pours from sky,
Making pools of rippled joy,
I stare at thoughtful patterns,
Remembering me as a boy.

When the wind blows steadily,
Pushing with nature so strong,
I lean in to feel the pressure,
Knowing it can’t be wrong.

When I hold my baby close,
Feel tiny arms close around,
I smile a gentle happiness,
For all the gifts I’ve found.
