Well, you have made a superb piece of art from this poor creature. I took a simliar image in NT but not as good as this. Excellent image for me.
Ken Boxsell
I would have to agree with Max. A fantastic image created from something that could have been so easily overlooked.
JudyBJ
Beautiful work-can you see the horse head ?
Wendy Slee
It takes amazing talent to take an everyday scene, if not one that is purposely overlooked, and present it as art in a way that is tasteful….. you have presented this so well that I can honestly see beauty throughout it…..

Great, beautiful!!!!!!!!! very nice shot, Wellman
Colin Ewington
Brilliant! This shot is a true work of art. Who would think such an unlucky animal could finish up like this. In my travels I have passed many a dead Roo and never thought about stopping and taking a shot. Job well done.
Deborah Parkin
what a disturbing shot (in a good way that is) – really gives you a insight into death (and life i suppose) – very surreal image but so brilliantly executed – somehow there seems something immortal here – maybe it is the fossilized feel to it.
John O'Dal
Of course it’s in motion – still bounding along.
LinaJ
wow, looks good! i like it
Paul Tupman
This is fantastic work mate, and reminds me of so many things.. the first being cave paintings for some strange reason! I think it must be the way it is presented.. looking as if it is on a stone wall! The framing of this is brilliant and the square format works so well.. you really have made this into a great piece of art.. a great abstract at first glance, with more detail than some may have bargained for on a second look. Actually for me, I find it quie fascinating.. great viewed large and so much to see.. its almost a bit like looking at a map! I’m finding I like this more and more as I see it and perhaps one of my more horrific favourites! Brilliant work!
Nira Dabush
Outstanding work, Great composition and textures captured here, Wellman
BRILLIANT !!
Jules Campbell
From the thumbnail version it looks to be a beautifully constructed painting ..perhaps an Olsen and then on closer inspection …well what a treat as Paul says above ‘so much to see’ ....well done!
Daniel Rarela
oh wow…. i feel like thinking its trapped in ice, but then it almost seems too crazy to think ANY place in Australia could get that cold
either way, what a great shot! i love the rough textures and (lack of) color in it – the starkness of it reminds me of the art work for Nine Inch Nails’ album The Downward Spiral
alistair mcbride
Very striking image,well done.

great capture, its amazing how it just becomes part of the earth.
Graham Lea
I have never seen a photo like this before in my life.
MattD
Really cool shot. Like how you’ve softened the edges.

Hi Mate,
Great Shot.
Tamme Marshall
So sad but so cool!
Peter Coleman
excellent work
bending back on itself, performing a jump it could not execute in life
one final leap

And ths, too, becomes a thing of beauty. Can honestly say, as an American, have never seen a Kangaroo carcass. The tail is particularly prominent….wowzer. I’ve seen aramadillo, deer, cats, dogs, squirrels, coons, oppossum, a cow, even the occasaional paddle-tailed beaver, but never the might roo. God speed, kangaroo.
coffeetea
excellent capture!
Sharon Mau
Paul Tupman states it so perfectly. This appears as a fascinating abstract image. I cannot imagine what must have happened to the poor creature to have died in such a distorted position. This is very moving.
Scott d'Almeida
