did you know if u place gum leaves near heat – it will give out wafts of really nice smells :) do not leave it unattended of course – fire hazard :P

nice tip, don;t have any access to gum trees or leaves tho, or maybe i just don’t recognize it when i see one. Love the warmth of the tea light. feeling cold right now, so am very attracted to warm lights.

The glow here does add to the eucalyptus aroma. I like the gum nuts, too. Today I took some spitfire caterpillars out of a gum tree and put them in the rubbish bin with leaves for food.They spit at you and the smell is like a very strong eucalyptus oil. I removed them because they strip the tree bare of leaves otherwise. May they live on at the rubbish tip!
