A beautiful blur

Untouched, as is, straight from the camera – Penkax k20d.
This is a berberitz (not sure if it is called that in English) which I spotted in Baden-Baden, Germany. We were walking along a street after a rain shower and I played around with DoF. The background is actually a tarmac road. Usually, the last thing I would want in a nature photograph is to show hard and dark tarmac but I liked the warm grey tone offsetting the red hues of the berberitz. I found it gave an elegant touch, along with the jewel-like drops.
