Tulips are my favourite flower. This bunch of tulips sat patiently waiting for me as I sampled each one, practising my macro work. I left the jug on the table as I worked. When I was tidying everything up, I thought they might make a very nice still life along with the great reflection in the glass on the black table. I liked how they seemed to be all over the place – just desperate to get out of the jug! Hence the title…sorry I couldn’t be more original! Not sure if this works …but I like it! The background is a set of red antique Asian doors I treated myself to awhile back!

Really lovely I love the Tulips tumbling over the vase and the red of the doors is wonderful. Your room must look wonderful with the red and black in it.

  • Thanks m’dear!! Yes, I set up a new apartment this past year and went with red/black and offwhite! Colour me crazy about the offwhite tho’….LOL These doors are fabulous…98" tall…love ’em!
