Childhood Pleasures in the Great Fig Tree (v.2) by

Another version of the image by the same name, posted in B&W earlier.
I’m happy for you to tell me which version you prefer.

The MOST amazing Moreton Bay Fig tree – Adelaide, South Australia.
This was hard to get in the frame as I didn’t have my wide angle lens with me. If you view it large you’ll get an idea of the size of the tree compared to the children, playground equipment and chairs in the image.

Canon EOS 5D MK II
Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
FL 32.0mm
1/125 sec.
ISO 400
Single RAW file.

I’ve never seen a more beautiful tree Wendi. I like this version better. The color just adds detail.

  • These Moreton Bay Figs have amazing root systems above ground and that alone is intriguing…but the spread of this was the biggest one I’d seen. Thanks Vickie! And thanks for your thoughts…I felt the same way …but then – you know, we always doubt ourselves. Cheers! :)

  • Can well understand why you’d love these gorgeous trees. I love their root systems that are above the ground. Thanks for stopping by! Wish you and your family well! :)
