Childhood Pleasures in the Great Fig Tree by

Please view LARGE.
The MOST amazing Moreton Bay Fig tree – Adelaide, South Australia.
This was hard to get in the frame as I didn’t have my wide angle lens with me. If you view it large you’ll get an idea of the size of the tree compared to the children, playground equipment and chairs in the image.

where is this Wendi?? I had one of these in the playground at my primary school and it was wonderful entertainment – shade in the summer, throwing the figs at each other and climbing it! I don’t think it’s there any more but I remember it well! Yours is very large, and yes, hard to get in the frame, LOL!

  • Hi…. you know, I can’t remember. It’s in a suburb of Adelaide – ask Andy Gii…. he grew up playing in it! :)
