Lovely shot Wendi! This is a make-me-feel-good flower for me. My grandma loved them so much and she had lots of them in her garden. I was always fascinated by the heavy blooms and their creamy colours and textures. Beautiful capture!

What a lovely comment, Judy…. yes, some varieties have perfume that would make you heady…. Sir Jules Elie, Festiva Maxima and Sara Bernhardt are the only ones…they grow in ‘shrub’ style and literally ‘pop’ from 1-2” buds into glorious heads about 5-6” across. They remind me of petticoats!! LOL Very pleased you like this one.

Gorgeous Peony portrait! They’re such sensual beauties … thanks for the info—I didn’t know that some are perfumed with what sounds like a pleasant “nose”. I had assumed that their spectacular beauty just didn’t offer much aromatic appeal. Even without much scent, they’re wonderful to put your face into! Cheers!
