Hello Everyone! Whitney Brune (Brew-knee) here :) I currently just graduated from Oklahoma State University with a major in Apparel Merchandising, and I am looking to grow my painting business. I actually have a hard time calling it a business because it is all so new to me. A few years ago, I picked up a paint brush and started putting colors on a canvas, and now, it has now become a great passion of mine. Between going to school and trying to find a first job in this horrible economy, I try to paint as much as possible. Being a new artist, I am excited to hear as much feedback as possible. I am still learning so much about this type of artwork, so any input is very much appreciate :)Please let me know what you think, and if you are interested in me custom painting you something, do not hesitate to ask!
In several of my paintings, I try to hide or incorporate the number 4, and as you can see in my photos, I have a tiny tattoo of this on my foot. So what’s the meaning behind this inspirational number 4? When I went to get the mole size tattoo, I had four reasons for doing so. These four reasons have formed who I am today, and I wanted to add a little bit of my life in each of my paintings: 1. In memory of Cory James Lack 2. For LOVE. God put us on this earth to love, and without love or passion, I do not believe we can accomplish anything 3. Life is entirely way too short to go through life unhappy. Cherish everyday and go to bed happy and loving life. And lastly, 4. Do not drink and drive.
