Rising between the picturesque waters of Lake Monona and Lake Mendota, the majestic granite structure of the Madison State Capitol building in Wisconsin, glows like a beacon, accenting the Madison skyline. This is an HDR image, actually a re-work since the original was the first HDR image I ever created. I have learned a few things since then, hope you like it. Here is an image of the interior which is simply stunning:

Was this from one shot or multiple?
Multiple, my friend. This was taken with my “old” D50, so I could only bracket 3 shots. My new D200 allows for 9 bracketed shots, can’t wait to try THAT !!!

Very nice work Andy! I can’t wait for the 9 bracketed shots… my camera only does 3 as well but i can manually get 9, just have to be really still lol. I am in the market for a new camera now too.. just a little more to save :) Beautiful work as always!
