Image of a Citroen 2CV in Denmark’s oldest town of Ribe. These cars were somewhat similar to the Volkswagen Bug, it was referred to as the “Duck” or Ente in Germany. Ribe was established in the first decade of the 8th century – just imagine that !!!

Wonderful subject matter,Andreas, terrific setting and colors, well done!!!
Love the colours and setting here, well done
Thank you both for your kind words, I was just beginning to contemplate if the colors were maybe a bit “oversaturated”, especially as it pertains to the “grout” in the cobblestone and roofline behind the streetlight. Thoughts?
Andy, I think the saturation works well. The image is colorful, and all stand out well.I think it would also look kind of cool, if you kept the “duck” in color, but made everything else black and white.
Hmmm, interesting thought Kimberly, I will have to run that through the “shop” and see what happens.
ha – in the UK this car was the darling of the ecologist brigade, until someone found out just how much carbon it pumps out! ironic really.
Photogenique, indeed somewhat similar to the VW bug. There is quite a following for these cars now.
Interesting Find, although you couldnt really miss it could you?
We would like to see it in our European Everyday Life GROUP
