    The Spitfire, Is still the best looking aircraft to date.
    It’s like a work of art!
    Small, sleek, powerful with a fantastic turn rate…. and boy does she sound freakin awesome…

  • Thanks brother … so I’m trying to figure out what Squadron this one belonged to ….. will have to look at full sideview of entire aircraft. Any idea on that trumpet and “bonnett” or clover leaf?

    That emblem or crest would have been the pilots own insignia. That position was widely used for adding one’s own special markings.
