Andreas, Andreas…I have been watching your work from a distance for a few weeks now…and this is surely the one for my first comment. You can’t help but wander…like the glass half full how much this tree has been able to withstand in its solitude. Great capture. Just because one may feel lonely..does not mean one may be alone. I can’t wait to see what you add next.

This reminds me almost of the victorian times for some reason. I can pichure a young mother waking for the day and looking out to this tree and praying that today brings her child good health for her child is racked with a fever and chills.

im drawn to this lonley tree and lonely bench- my work can be melancholy too so im told, though its not intential it just comes though in my work i did and etching of a tree and bench and was told by my tutor that a feeling of melancholy comes though i love your work !
