I’ll start with a critique if I may :op
If I had taken this exceptional image. (And I dont believe I ever will) I would have made the piano keys the level point in this Photo. Call me pedantic if you will. I am immune to your disdain… lol

Now… HDR is the business for bringing out textures in wood, is it not? The floor is incredible, as are the seat and cupboards. You have treated this exceptionally well…Lighting (brilliant) Exposure (brilliant) Composition (brilliant) I could go on forever…and I will.

The warmth of this is really what sets it apart fom other shots. It looks so inviting.

As for a title..I have no friggin idea.

fantastic shot. i’d be obtuse and call it something like “who lives here?”. sometimes a question draws the viewer in. i know i wish i lived there.

My hands are raking through my LCD monitor, fingers distended, dilating through a course of featureless electrons to end up settled and properly placed; trickle-chord, then thunder-furl, testing the tendons of this piano. The image is awesome.

It is as though, if I were to get my body there, playing the piano, I would also be playing the entire room – for the piano seems to be rooted in, grown out of the furrowed slats of the floor, washed with earthen light. A D minor might resonate through that cream door frame, while a G major might send the black squares of the window into gentle, chromatic reverb. I might even open a drawer with well-timed, ascending steps of C.

So did the playing of the piano create the room, or the other way around? I could easily imagine the music as mass, warping spacetime as the room – and then spacetime (the room), dictating the motion of the mass (the music). Well done. And a wealth of inspiration for me. Thanks for sharing!
