Beautiful work Andy!!! I took an on line class with Deborah Feingold (http://www.deborahfeingold.com).... look at her work. And while away I purchased a book titled, “Visual Poetry” by Chris Orwig…. and am devouring it as fast as I can!! If you want to know about nuance, and eye specialties and so much more in portraiture … find this book!!!! I have only begun to be even a % of what I want to be “when I grow up”!!!! But my last photo’s I have used some of his suggestions… I’m thinking differently… and preparing differently!!!!
Just suggestions, but you asked right!!!! LOL

Stunning work Andy, I always figure if the person is happy your happy and that’s what counts. I can not see any thing wrong with these, I was told it is all to do with the lighting and I think the lighting is perfect.

WOW! I’m thinking you have opened a new door in your photography world Mr. Mueller! They are all absolutely fantastic! I couldn’t offer any suggestions for improvements on any of them. I love how you have gotten four very distinct looks. Something I struggle with in my portrait work. I really enjoy all the different processing as well. This is definitely an area you really should look into and do more of Andy. Me thinks you are a bit of a natural at this ;) Fantastic work buddy :)

This is lovely. I like the fact that you can still see a few freckles on her skin. I hate that over photoshopped look to be honest.

I love fashion and glamour. The rules that I used to apply to portraiture no longer apply in a lot of cases.
Younger people like variety and special effects so the basic principle of lighting applies but, the digital age generated a “new” way of what most think about lighting.
Your style brought me here in the first place. I like the treatment of the final image.

You have beat me to the punch with trying portrait photography Brother. My honest opinion…..Beautiful work here, both the model and the photographer connected nicely in this session.
I really cannot pick one from the series the are all fantastic.

Andy … soooo beautiful. I’ve never tried portrait photography either, unless you count me sneaking up on my family members and snapping away before they come after me with a broom. No, we can’t count that, can we. ANYhow … I’m all agog over these … especially the skin tones!!!!!! Well shot!!!!!
