Thank you Sharon, that is very kind of you to say. Yes Katchen hit the lottery when we found her, but so did my wife and I, she is such a sweetheart. Just last night she was literally hugging me, while sleeping with her head on my pillow.

That brings tears to my eyes! So happy you found each other! I volunteer at our local shelter taking photos of the adoptables in hopes that someone will feel the way you did and get right in their cars to adopt! thank goodness we have a beautiful shelter with wonderful caring people! That’s so sad that she was living in poor conditions there. She’s absolutely beautiful. I love the lighting here too.

Thank you MinnieLee, Katchen came to the shelter as a stray. She was in a cage barely tall enough for her to stand up in. There were about 3-4 other cages stacked on top of hers. I had to literally kneel down to get a look at her. Immediatley went to the folks running the shelter to let me spend sometime with her. Needless to say she was totally going crazy being able to move about and run around. She met my other dog (also adopted from a shelter in PA), and seemed to get along “ok”. She got her shot, I paid $28, and off we went. She took to us right away, and the two “girls” are like sisters to each other, inseperable. So glad we got her !!!
