Dirty Roll
What a day …. spent all day at the Navy Dare Bombing Range, watching Navy F/A-18’s drop ordenance and strafe various ground targets. Somehow I’m just fine where my tax dollars are being spent. This particular aircraft performed a sneak pass on the spectators that RATTLED everybody. It was AWESOME. Later, and pictured here, he performed a beautiful Dirty Roll (essentially a roll with landing gear down). You go, you Hot Dog, you! Thanks for the show! How do like “dem” apples, Mr. Colley?

Another super capture, indeed a high angle of attack, but no worries of a stall from insufficient thrust. Like the F-15 the Tomcat has a greater thrust to weight ratio which allows for vertical climb and accelerations. Congrats again.
