Andy Mueller replied
Dang it, the secret is revealed so quickly …. Yeah, but now someone explain the “clouds”, (not you Angel, you probably figure it out)
Maureen Maliha
I know…. but is there is a prize in this somewhere for the person who guesses?
Andy Mueller replied
Yes, the winner will get to look at this image in Large on their screen for as long as they care to …..

Shelly Hiebert
Ohhhhh! Very clever Mr. Mueller! Flipping clever actually ;) And the ripples in the water make perfect ‘clouds’, am I right?! Beautiful work :)
Andy Mueller replied
Flipping is good & correct. How many times has been “flipped”? Not quite correct on the “clouds” though ….
Jeffrey Sanders
Nice shot….and nice post processing!
Andy Mueller replied
Thank you Jeff!
Lois Bryan
Andy you REALLY did a fabulous job on this … the sepia is the perfect touch for the clubhouse!!!!!!! We usually spend our vacation just down the road in Whalehead every year .. (tho not lately) ... and I’ve never seen it looking so gorgeous!!!!!

Andy
Great shot , but can you do me a favour and add some information on the HDR process, things like , handheld or tripod, how many exposures if you have the setting even better, what software was used. That way I can accept into HDR Photography group.
When it’s been added please resubmit it for moderation. and we will add it to the group.

Brilliant!!!
Michael Bermi...
Its been rotated 180’ Eh?
The top half looks great actually. Kinda like a Vintage Photo.
Andy Mueller replied
Hey brother! Its been rotated both vertically and horizontally. So the reflection is truly the sky …. cool huh?
SolomomSC
Kinda like taking apart your parents VCR a boy must play.. LOVE IT!!!!
imageofpix4u
Yeah well,,,let them say what they want. I like it. I have a few that leave you wondering which is the real and which is the reflection. Sometimes I rotate them 90 instead of 180 and look at them like Rorshack tests. The eye is harder to fool in full spectrum, but honestly I like the sepia monochromatic treatment. Way Cool.
lazydaze
wow thats awsome!!
Michael Bermi...
Yeah, 180’ “rotation” is the same as “Flipped horizontally and vertically” is it not?
Do me a favour…either stand on your head… or turn your monitor upside down.
I bet it looks like the original.
lol
And yes…It looks Way Cool
:o)
Andy Mueller replied
Shifty, I’m still struggling with the 180 degree rotation …. I think it’s more than that. Do me a favor (and please do this, as it makes more sense): take a piece of paper and draw a house with a tree to the left of it, and also the “reflection”. Mark the top house with an X in the roof. Now, turn the paper over, hold it up to the light, the X is till on top, but the tree is to the right. Now flip the paper one more time, so that the original side is face up, X is on the bottom and tree is on the right. That is how this image is. That is more than 180 degrees, no?
Heather Rivet...

Anne McGinn
This is wonderful – I love architectural photography and this is just so much more amazing…..
HansBellani
Marvelous….I keep flipping it over in my mind’s eyes
Michael Bermi...
LMAO
You are cracking me up…..
If you do everything you said to do in your reply… and then spin that same piece of paper 180’... you will right back to where you started from.
Try this and let me know how it turns out.
Draw your house,
flip it horizontally,
Flip it vertically,
Rotate it 180’,
You will have your original image.
This is fun!!!
Jayne Logan
Spectacular image!!!
