The Machine
2005 BMW K1200LT at New River Gorge in West Virginia. My buddy Jim was cracking up when he saw me laying on the ground, trying to get this angle. The longest arch bridge in the Western Hemisphere is visible near the bike’s headlight. I now wish I would have changed the angle/composition so as not to have the front of the bike appear so busy … Oh well, next time ….. Image made with Nikon D300 and Tokina 12-24mm f/4.

Shelly Hiebert
Shweeeeet ride Andy! Way to get down on your belly like that….makes for a great angle and a great image all around. Niiiiiiice ;)

Thank you so much Shelly, too sweet of you!
Joel Hall
Very cool shot, love the POV. Did you use redynamix on this?
Andy Mueller replied
Yes Sir, a touch of redynamix, also isolated the bike, then applied just a hint of gaussian blur to eveything besides the bike and it’s shadow. Also cloned out my inspection decal plate. Other than that, straight out of the camera, hehehehe!
Scott d'Almeida
awesome,
Andy Mueller replied
Thank you Scott
Michael Bermi...
I would’ve Laughed Too…..In fact I will!

Whereabouts did you install the cup holder?
In saying that though mate, this is an awesome shot of a killer machine!
The Ultra Wide Tokina was a spot on choice for this!
Superb.
Andy Mueller replied
I am sitting here wondering how the heck you know about the cupholder ….. Now I know ….. So, the cupholder is right next to the Ram Mount GPS that you can see in the picture. The mirror is hiding it though ….
Krys Bailey
Hahaha! The things we do for a good angle! ;o) Great shot Andy so well worth it! ;o)
Andy Mueller replied
Thank you so much Krys. I actually suspect that he took some pictures of me, because I heard him laughing after he was standing there wondering what the heck I was doing …..
