The Last Flight
Sort of a bittersweet moment, apparently the West Coast Demo team will no longer perform at airshows with the F-15. To mark the “retirement” this F-15 was hosed down by two firetrucks as it returned from it’s last tactical flight demo. Nikon D300, Sigma 50-500mm.

That Bird I worked on!. It’s assigned (or was) to the 33 rd Tactical Air Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Well I worked on this squadrons Engines as a Civilian Contractor (Lockheed Support Systems.) In the Air Force enlisted, I was assigned on the other side of Eglin main, the 3211th Research & Dev elopement Test Wing. Sad to hear them go. They’re being replaced by F-22 Raptors.
