Excellent composition! I’m not a big fan of HDR as many people over use it on the wrong photos, but this “slight touch” is perfect! The sepia adds just the right tones to it as well. A definite favourite!

LAUREN ROBERTS
Superbe. Is it upside down?! :)
Andy Mueller replied
No, not upside down. The water in the pond is so clear that you can see the algea that’s growing on the bottom, making it appear as clouds. Neat huh? I actually have copies where I flipped the image and it looks wicked (as if there are clouds in the sky)
Shane Viper
Love the reflection. Very nice feeling goes with this image, well done
kellimays
Awesome Reflection shot.
Michele Conner
You get better all the time. I love this… the color looks fantastic. I like that you can see the clouds in the reflection, but not see them in the sky (unless that is something in the water I am seeing and not clouds). Since I have to give a suggestion… the only thing I would experiment with is moving the shoreline from the center. Don’t know which way you could go with it… but trying it a bit more off center might be interesting.
Andy Mueller replied
The water is actually so clear, that you are seeing the “algae” that’s growing in the pond bottom. I agree it looks like clouds …. I see what you mean about a different angle, can easily give that a try on a re-shoot. Thank you for the comment!
Martin Dingli
