Take Me Home Country Roads
Patiently waiting on a letter from you ….
One of those, “Oh, I’m gonna have to stop the car and take this shot” kind of moments. I love how the two left-most trees almost form an arch. Incidently this road is called Covered Bridge Road and leads to Pennsylvania’s Oldest Covered Bridge built in 1830
RIP John.

Andy Mueller replied
Thanks so much for the nice comment, what do you mean by the etching the trees part? I’m curious.
Andy Mueller
Thank you Kelly, yes the trees in the distance are on 2 rolling hills, so it kinda gives that 3D feel. Thanks for the nice comment and favoriting!

Fabtastic landscape shot…very peaceful.
What surprises me is the lack of fences.
Andy Mueller replied
Yeah, there no fences whatsoever. Now telephone poles, that’s a different story …..

This is just amazingly beautiful and what you think of when you think rural America!! Fantastic work!
Andy Mueller replied
Thank you Dottie, yes, this is what I think of when I hear rural America. Funny that you said that …. that’s exactly what that image means to me.

...to the place I belong… : )
HEY! Do you remember if this was in Ephrata/New Holland area? Was there an Amish farm behind you, and the bridge? And a mansion on the hill in front and to the right of you? If so, I know exactly where this was. If not…oh well, it’s still beautiful! lol : )
Andy Mueller replied
No sorry Ann, this is near Montandon, PA. Although what you are describing is similar, only the mansion being a huge dairy farm.
Heather Rivet...

I like how this picture “leads the eye”. Good job.
Andy Mueller replied
Thank you Verna, yes it does lead you down into the image, doesn’t it? I wished the road would have bent and went underneath the two arched trees.

I just love those stop the car moments .and love them even more when they are taken advantage of. So glad you did here. EXCELLENT in ever yway. so much for the eyes to see, I can’t decide which I love the best. The trees providing protection to the road w/ the hills in the back, or the crops plannted to close to the street w/ the mail box….Excellent!!!
