Oh…Matt is refering to Transformers…like the movie. There is a Transformer that is also a plane. Guess you would have to have seen the movie. :-)

Nice one Andy. We used have a test set for testing exhaust temperature when I worked on aircraft. It went up to 1900deg C. But more modern test sets are perhaps higher for jets with afterburners. – Ted
