Profile
Born and raised in Germany, relocated to the US in 1984. I’m a former US paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, now working with high-end UNIX systems. I consider myself an advanced amateur digital photographer with inspirations to do this for a living someday.
My gear consists of a Nikon D300 & D200, multiple Nikon and third party lenses, Nikon SB800 Speedlight and Feisol Carbon Fibre tripod with a Gitzo head. Just like many others here, I love taking pictures of varying subject matters, although I’m beginning to become partial to HDR, wildlife, night photography and aviation related images.
