HMAS Allenwood ran aground in heavy fog about 5 miles north of Norah Head NSW Australia. Built in 1920 the steamer ran aground on 14-9-1951.
Due to a very heavy swell over the past month & after 60yrs the Allenwood has been uncovered & waiting for fellow photographer’s to make the most of this opportunity before she disappears again.
