In June 2008 I trusted my intuition to resign from my last job to follow my desire to be “bigger”. I wanted to turn the concept of our universe being one of infinite abundance and wellbeing into my lived experience. I wanted to feel free from worries and anxiety about money once and for all.
Despite having only enough savings for another month with mortgage & other financial obligations, I jumped off the cliff of what was familiar on 23 July 08 by setting aside the final draft of my resume prepared by a specialist. I promised myself never again to act out of what I think I should but would only look for work if and when directed by my intuition. In the mean time, I would just relax and practise being happy.
I can hardly believe my journey thus far and am so excited about what is yet to come. I feel wonderfully cheeky to have not worked for 13 months and yet still have my apartment! I am physically the fittest & heaviest I’ve ever been (I wanted to be BIG in all senses of the word) and laugh as easily as I yawn. I have been on unemployment benefits the last 6 months and am so thankful for my warm interactions of ease with the “ordinarily” troublesome & depressing social services.
Now I know I am like a squeezed sponge in water. As soon as I let go of my grip, the infinite abundance of our universe effortlessly fills me up with joy, wonder, all that I desire and more.
Abundance is like the air I breathe. As part of our universe, I am supported as miraculously as the earth holds me right now.
I return my awareness in this moment to notice with you my gentle breath and how my weight is supported at my feet & bottom, allowing the tingling of energy to well up from the soles of my feet through my entire being to you and all.
