I’ve been watching some nature programs lately made by the great BBC.
I have now compiled a list of animals that are….

” Better Than Us ”.

This is the Cheetah.

It can run at speeds of up to 50 miles an hour.

We can’t run at 50 miles an hour. The Cheetah will beat us and then probably eat us.

The Cheetah is better than us.

This is the Polar Bear.

It is the worlds largest land predator and it eats Seals.

We can’t eat a Seal.

The Polar Bear is better than us.

This is the Red Kangaroo.

It can dent the bonnet, smash the lights and break the bumper off my hire car and still bounce away without so much as a bruise.

We would spend weeks in hospital.

The Red Kangaroo is better than us.

This is the Tapir.

It looks like the ugly love child of an Elephant and a Pig but it has the largest dinky to body size than any other mammal on Earth.

We have one of the smallest.

The Tapir is better than us.

This is the Camel.

It can travel vast distances without food, water or rest.
It can also wreck the other side of my hire car without so much as a bruise.

We would spend more weeks in hospital.

The Camel is better than us.

This is the Lion.

It’s not that much different to a house Cat really but it can pull down a Zebra or a Wildebeest and eat them…. both.

We can’t do this.

The Lion is better than us.

This is the Great White Shark.

It’s a fish and we eat fish.

But this fish will eat us.

The Great White Shark is better than us.

This is the Saltwater Crocodile.

It…... well…...

it pretty much cr**s all over us !

We are the Human.

We can produce fine art of many forms including the Mona Lisa.

The Gorilla would probably eat it though.

And we would let it.

The Gorilla is bigger than us !
