What wonderful detail in the clouds and greenery, and the horse compliments the scene so nicely with its presense-of-life. Lavender is among my favorite colors, so quite admire viewing this lovely work!

  • Thank you David – for taking the time to not just comment but to do so with substance. I think that taking the time to note what you like or don’t like or to add what might help the piece help each of us to grow in our art.

I’m thinking of starting a group like “Thoughtful critique” that limits us to say one image a week and also requires that we commit to taking a little more time to give a thoughtful critique. Would you be interested in hosting or being a member?

Hi Wayne – your idea of forming a “Thoughtful critique” group sounds like a good idea! If I were a talented artist, I would surely appreciate constructive criticism!. I, however, must way-humble myself in admitting I by no means belong part of the talented & artistic group represented on this site. I’m simply a shopper here, with a very subjective eye for art. In fact, I never really have a clue what I’m shopping for, but definitely recognize “must-have/keepers” when I find them! I’ll forever embrace these pieces with the Heart & Soul put into them! : )
