These beetles were all over an Illawarra Flame tree. Not sure what they are but look at the colours. Amazing. Would be better if I had a great macro lens.I now know the are Harlequin Beetles. (Tectocoris diophthalmus).So added some small images here too.

    Terrific find. Looks like decorations. Just try getting real close and see how your camera does. That’s what I do even though I have macro lenses.
