Lovely colourful foreground, Steven. Help me out with my geography: looks like hills, dales, or mountains shrouded in mist across Dornoch Firth. An appealing shot, either way.

Thank you very much, Jan. Tarbat Ness is a narrow headland, the North Sea was behind me and I am looking west toward the Northern Scottish Highlands, which get more dramatic the further west you go.

Are you looking more or less across toward Golspie & Dunrobin Castle? A few years ago we stayed at the old customs house, now a B & B, on Helmsdale harbor, & on that clear morning, we could see the Tarbat Ness light some 15 – 20 (?) miles away. We loved that coast, & I love this photo!

Many thanks, Sheila. Nearly right with the geography. Dunrobin castle will be off the picture to the right.
