I liked this composition for the girl’s small figure among all the looming geometry, &/the nuances of nature’s little details around the borders. The original photo has a fair amount of reflection on the glass, which in post-production abstracts well …

photomanipulation, originally shot on Olympus PEN e-P2 w/a Loreo Lens in a Cap, toy lens f/16 50mm fixed focus. I wanted this photo to end up more like an colour ink drawing; as it’s of the Art Gallery, I wanted it to appear like something maybe ‘found in’ the gallery … at least in style & feel. =)

  • only at 1:1 resolution do you really start to get the pen & ink effect, or the abstract focus; I am afraid the RB images don’t zoom in close enough, but this small slice gives a little better idea ::.
